What is involved?
This workshop will explore the ways in which EEG research could be made more inclusive, focusing on diverse hairtypes and cultural awareness.
The session will include:
- Educational Presentation on inclusive research practice and neuroracism
- Demonstration from local hairdresser Melisha Mckayle (Hair by Melisha)
- Presentation & Q&A from Danielle Johnson, NHS Senior Clinical Neurophysiologist
- Practical training in diverse hairtypes & EEG application
- Group discussions on how to improve EEG inclusivity at University of Bristol
Please note: The workshop is only open to people at University of Bristol with experience of EEG practice. There are a limited number of spaces on the workshop (25 people).
