online
Hosted by the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration West
What makes an infographic or visual abstract effective or not? Hopefully, after this short webinar you’ll have a much better idea, and be able to make a confident start in telling stories with your own data.
Whether making them yourself or outsourcing, in this webinar Gavin Hubbard, Communications Lead for the NIHR ARC Oxford and Thames Valley, will outline five key steps to making an effective infographic, and offer a number of practical tips and considerations for designing your own infographics.
What this webinar isn’t: This webinar won’t cover the practical aspects of using tools like as Adobe Creative Suite or Affinity Suite, to create infographics or data visualisations. A tips sheet for resources, courses, and software will however be provided so you have a clear direction of where to go next.
Who is this for: Anyone who wants a better idea of how to communicate visually and what they need to think about to produce effective infographics. But mainly researchers or those wishing to communicate the meaning of various types of data in health, social care, or public health.
