Curated by Florian Scheding and Norbert Meyn (Royal College of Music), University of Bristol students staged The Good Old Budapest! Cabaret in British Exile, a cabaret that recreated songs, plays, and sketches by refugees in Britain during WWII, some of which had not been performed for over 80 years. The event formed part of Being Human Festival 2025, led by the School of Advanced Study, with support from Research England, the Arts and Humanities Research Council and the British Academy.
