Undergraduate Opportunities
We do not currently have any opportunities to transfer your studies from SYSU to an undergraduate level via our Global Transfer Programme. If you are interested in studying at an undergraduate level at the University of Bristol, please visit our standard Undergraduate study webpages.
2+1+1+1 Programmes
The 2+1+1+1 programme is designed for you to join a 1-year Master's degree programme at Bristol after completing 3 years of your 4-year Bachelor's degree in China and 1 year of the Study Abroad Programme (General Pathway) at Bristol.
You need to study in one of the programmes at SYSU:
- Bachelor of Science in Geographic Science
- Bachelor of Science in Human Geography and Urban and Rural Planning
- Bachelor of Science in Geographic Information Science
- Bachelor of Science in Physical Geography and Resource Environment
- Bachelor of Science in Urban and Rural Planning
At the end of the programme, you will receive:
- A Bachelor's degree from your home university
- A Master's degree from the University of Bristol
During the Study Abroad (General Pathway) Programme, you will be able to take credit-bearing units across different subject areas.
After completing the Study Abroad Programme, you can progress onto one of our Master’s degree programmes below:
- MSc Environmental Policy and Management
- MSc Climate Change Science and Policy
Number of years of study required:
- 2 years at SYSU followed by 1-year Study Abroad programme at Bristol Students will return to SYSU to finish the 4th year before coming back to Bristol for the MSc followed by 1-year Master's programme at Bristol (2+1+1+1)
