Welcome to Dr Ralph Evins from the University of Victoria, Canada

Dr Evins is visiting Bristol as a Next Generation Visiting Researcher and will be here from the 29th April to the 9th June.

Dr Ralph Evins is an Associate Professor in Civil Engineering at the University of Victoria in Canada. He specialises in the use of machine learning algorithms as ‘surrogate models’ for detailed engineering simulations of building energy use. Dr Evins will be working with Professor Peter Flach in the School of Computer Science on the project Applying machine learning methods to engineering simulation.
