International Research Development funding opportunities
The University of Bristol has a proud legacy of international research development, providing opportunities for scholars from around the globe and our own academics to come together and develop collaborative research.
The International Research Development team co-ordinate a variety of award opportunities designed to support collaborative research development by funding travel expenses and other activities where appropriate. These funding awards should be viewed as the first phase of funding that will lead to further funding bids, co-authored publications, policy impacts, and longer-term collaborations between the individuals and institutions involved.
- Benjamin Meaker Annual AwardsYear-long awards to support research development between University of Bristol academic hosts and international collaborators, leading to substantial research funding bids.
- Research Development International Collaboration AwardsSmaller awards to support activities such as short international visits or workshops that build collaborative research development between University of Bristol academics and international colleagues. This should result in high quality research outcomes such as joint funding bids and co-authored publications.
- Bristol Benjamin Meaker Follow-on FundFunding to facilitate the continued growth and development of the relationships cultivated during the award periods of some of our previous schemes.
