Open Seminar 'Methods for Supporting Policy Design and Evaluation when Transitioning to a Decarbonized, Circular Economy'
Bristol Next Generation Visiting Research Dr Anthony Halog, University of Queensland, Australia
Brunel Room, The Hawthorns
The transition from a carbon-based economy to a circular economy is complex and requires a systems-thinking approach. Life cycle assessment (LCA) evaluates the environmental impact of a product or process throughout its entire life cycle. The seminar aims to introduce life cycle and systems thinking methods for modelling and analysing products and technologies in agri-food and other industrial sectors as they transition to net zero emissions economies.
Open to all schools and faculties, this event will appeal to a multidisciplinary audience.
