A webinar focused on research and developments regarding alternatives to antimicrobials which are essential to allow for reducing antimicrobial usage and lack of therapeutically effective treatments in production animals. In this webinar we will discuss two alternative approaches: first a presentation from an experimental study on use of fecal matter transplantation (FMT) in pig farms followed by a second talk on on effects on alternative treatments in microbiota composition and diversity. At the end of the webinar it will be possible to interact with the speakers and discuss their work and study areas in an interactive Q&A session.
