Optimizing the HIV Prevention User Journey Tool: Applying a user-centred market research approach

Hosted by the STI Research Interest Group (STIRIG) at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM)

As new HIV prevention products come to market, the need arose for a decision tool to support people to make informed choices about which product best fits their lifestyle and needs. The HIV Prevention user journey tool provides HIV prevention clients with information on the available and future methods and supports clients in their journey to select their most appropriate combination of HIV prevention methods. Specifically, it supports adolescent girls and young women to select the most appropriate combination of HIV prevention methods and healthcare providers to provide optimized and informed counselling and information to clients seeking HIV prevention services.

This webinar will cover the process and findings from the market research assessment conducted to optimize the HIV Prevention User Journey Tool so that it is convenient, relevant and user-friendly for providers and clients.
