Pint of Science - How the Pandemic has Propelled Vaccine Research

The Vaccine and Testing team were established in September 2020 in response to the need for COVID-19 vaccine research. The team is based at the NIHR Clinical Research Facility. The team successfully delivered a number of clinical trials which made a significant contribution to the UK’s pandemic response. The team support vaccine administration policy and work on vaccines against infections that include E.coli, CMV and RSV, and will be discussing the effect of the pandemic on current vaccine research.
