Celebrate World AMR Awareness Week 2023 by joining an interactive live webinar with leading academic primary care clinicians sharing their research evidence to improve the management of acute respiratory tract infections in children in primary care.
The webinar will cover risk assessment, managing diagnostic uncertainty, holding conversations with parents and carers, promoting self-care and safety netting, and targeting antimicrobial use.
Panel:
- Professor Alastair Hay is a GP (since 1997) and Professor of Primary Care at the University of Bristol (since 2013)
- Dr Oliver Van Hecke is an academic GP who completed his doctoral studies in 2018 at Oxford
- Dr Stefania Vergnano is a Consultant in Paediatric Infectious Diseases and Immunology at the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children
Chair: The session will be chaired by Elizabeth Beech MBE. Elizabeth is the Regional Antimicrobial Stewardship Lead for the South West Region at NHS England.
