Bristol AMR Cross-Faculty Community Event

Bristol AMR is hosting a half-day cross faculty event to refresh the antimicrobial resistance (AMR) research community in Bristol.

The aim is to highlight the escalating global challenge of AMR, expand the research discipline engagement at the University of Bristol and local/regional NHS Trusts, and stimulate interdisciplinary collaborations across the faculties and NHS Trusts to help tackle AMR.

The event will include introductory talks on AMR and Bristol’s contributions to AMR research, as well as looking at new funding opportunities, and where future research and innovation are most needed.

The event will be an opportunity to meet other like-minded researchers and clinicians and discuss how your expertise and interests can link to forge new collaborations

Researchers from all fields, faculties, NHS and postgraduate researchers are warmly encouraged to attend.

Speakers include Prof Alasdair MacGowan (North Bristol NHS Trust) and Prof Matthew Avison (University of Bristol).
