Professor Deborah Lawlor CBE is BHF Professor of Cardiovascular Science and Clinical Epidemiology at the University of Bristol, where she leads a programme of work at the MRC Integrative Epidemiology Unit. She is in the top 100 most highly cited researchers in the UK, and one of the most highly cited female researchers in the world.
Her research investigates the links between ethnicity, genetics and health during pregnancy on the long-term cardiovascular health of mothers and children. Her programme of work at the MRC Unit is titled 'Molecular drivers & predictors of pregnancy complications & future health'.
This unique event will give an opportunity to hear from Debbie, in conversation with James, Associate Medical Director at the BHF, about her extraordinary life and career.
