Destination Vet Summer School

Do you want to be a vet? Join our unique learning and work experience programme to gain hands-on skills, explore Bristol and the UK with our social programme, and meet new friends from around the world.

Programme at a glance

Destination Vet is open to students aged 16+, currently studying chemistry and biology, and interested in a veterinary science degree.

A two-week immersive, practical programme, in small classes led by our experienced vets and staff. Destination Vet allows students to work with a wide variety of animals, develop their clinical and teamwork skills, and earn practical experience needed for future degree applications.


  • Arrivals day: 19 July 2020
  • First day of teaching: 20 July 2020
  • Last day of teaching: 31 July 2020
  • Departures day: 1 August 2020
