The stop-motion puppet animation Reynard the Fox, based on the medieval beast epic, and co-produced by Professor Ad Putter and Putter (English) and Dr Kristian Moen (Film and TV) has scooped another award. After winning the best animation prize at the Animalis fabula festival in San Diego last December, the puppet animation has just won the Best of Fest prize at the 2026 ETHOS kids film festival. With generous support from the University, the Bristol alumna Maddy Pull, who directed the film as a Film and TV student at Bristol, was able to collect the prize in person at the award ceremony in Santa Monica, from where she sent us this photograph of her acceptance speech.
