CSN members at the IEEE Student Branch Technology Symposium

CSN PhD researchers spoke at the University of Bristol’s IEEE Student Branch Half-day “Technology” Symposium earlier this week.

Simon Wilson’s session was titled “Spectrum Sharing in C-Band – An Economic Case Study” and Jiteng Ma presented “A high-performance digital RF power amplifier and how machine learning can enable the RF design”.

Simon and Jiteng are both researchers for the SWAN Prosperity Partnership.

The Branch gives students the opportunity to be involved in IEEE activities. The Technology Symposium is part of a range of events aimed at engaging and informing attendees on a variety of exciting topics through industry and academic talks, demonstrations, career advice discussions, and site visits.
