Rooms allowing catering
Catering is only allowed in certain rooms at the University.
Catering rules
The university does not have many 'central teaching spaces' in that permit catering/food etc. These rules were brought in several years ago, after students and teaching staff complained about food smells, food left-overs, over filled bins, stains on carpets etc. This is not a rule that we overlook anymore and when groups are discovered to have broken it, we will no longer book them spaces.
- No alcohol is permitted in any central teaching space.
- Food and drink, catered or individual, is strictly prohibited in other teaching spaces.
- Please leave the room clean and tidy.
