Course requirements

Applicants must be qualified dental therapists, registered with the GDC, and provide their GDC registration number at the time of booking. 

Course Objectives

Composite Layering & Shade Selection: Understand and demonstrate correct composite layering techniques, including shade selection and basic colour theory, to achieve natural morphology, contour, and aesthetic harmony. 

Dental Injection Moulding: Gain a basic understanding of the principles, materials, tools, and equipment, with practical exercises to familiarise participants with the technique. 

Finishing & Polishing Skills: Practice clinical finishing and polishing techniques to create natural surface texture, correct line angles, and a smooth, lustrous final surface. 

Evaluation & Reflection: Evaluate the quality and aesthetics of completed restorations, reflecting on morphology, form, and surface finish to identify areas for improvement.
