The successful applicants can take a leading role in several national and international projects that aim to understand changes in atmospheric composition, such as PARIS, GEMMA, InHALE, OpenGHG and AGAGE. There are opportunities to develop skills in atmospheric science, greenhouse gases, ozone depleting substances, data science, machine learning and high-performance computing. We welcome applications from a wide range of backgrounds. Previous experience with inverse modelling or atmospheric chemistry is not necessary, but a strong background in computing, physical sciences or mathematics is essential.
