In this programme, students complete an individual three-month Summer Project during the last quarter of the foundation year. Students develop these projects in collaboration with the rest of the research community: peers, research colleagues, academic members of staff from a range of subject areas and external partners. In most cases the Summer Project then develops into a 3 year PhD project.
