Reproducible Research: Organisation

As part of the UKRN Open Research Programme (ORP) we are pleased to offer two workshops to learn more about Reproducible Research practices and how they can be implemented in your research. These are independent sessions so you do not have to attend both.

This first session will explore the reproducibility crisis and why it is beneficial to make research reproducible. It will also describe some easy practices you can adopt to make your own research more reproducible. In this session the focus will be on planning (data management plans, folder structures, naming of files) and organisation (tidy data) strategies. There will also be time allocated at the end of the session for you to make a start setting these up for your specific circumstances and research group.

You should attend this workshop if you are committed to open research and want to take the first steps in making your own research as reproducible as possible.
