Members of the Bristol Cancer Research Network are in discussions with Bristol Health Partners for the possible creation of a Health Integration Team looking at cancer.
Health Integrations Teams, or HITs, are set up to improve care in Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire. They work across our partnership to tackle some of the critical health and care challenges people in our region face.
Experts in research, health and care services, and public health work alongside patients, carers and service users are invited to take part in a scoping meeting to gauge the interest and commitment of potential contributors towards a HIT application. The HIT would be on cancer in general, but we anticipate supporting a number of workstreams in various focus areas according to enthusiasm and expertise.
This will not be an in-depth discussion session due to time limits, but will serve as an introductory session to determine areas of expertise and representation.
To register to take part please complete the registration form. Registration closes 31 October 2024 at 12 noon.
