AIBIO-UK is a BBSRC funded network that aims to support the establishment of a community interested in applying AI to bioscience research. This will be achieved by running networking events, creating resource and training opportunities and funding pilot projects and research visits. Further detail can be found here.

This kick-off event will seek a balanced mix of those working with AI in the biosciences and those from the computing, mathematical and statistical fields interested in getting involved. The purpose of the meeting is to overview the plan for the network and to start building a community who can together run events and create resources to support the network. 

We aim to bring a diversity of stakeholders from different disciplines, institutions and backgrounds from across the U.K. together in person and online. Registration can be stated as preferably online or in person, but please recognise we will need to be selective for in person attendees to achieve our goal of a dynamic mix.

The event will provide an introduction to the network, as well as keynote talks and interactive sessions to help shape future events and activities. More details can be found here.
