Translating research ideas into innovations for better NHS Outcomes

For academics and clinical researchers interested in translation and innovation, and specifically clinical applications of their research.

This lunchtime seminar will focus on the AHSN’s role in translating research findings into the innovations that support improved NHS outcomes. It will situate the role of the AHSN in the context of both the University’s support for translation and the wider regional ecosystem, including our local health and social care system’s priorities. It will cover the AHSN’s support and resources available for innovators. The seminar will also explore the NHS as a ‘marketplace’ for interventions and for innovation, explaining how to progress along NHS adoption pathways to improved service delivery and patient benefit.
