The South West ICA awards are now open for applications.
Are you interested in clinical research and the opportunities to combine research training with practice either for yourself or for health and social care professionals working in your team, service, or organisation?
Health Education England and the National Institute for Health and Care Research provides various research training awards as part of the Integrated Clinical and Practitioner Academic (ICA) Programme for health and social care professionals, other than medics and dentists.
The ICA programme is intended to increase research capacity to improve health and social care, by developing people with the potential and aspiration to become leading practitioners and independent researchers in the future.
There are three levels of personal development awards being offered by the South West region to support individuals to explore and develop a clinical/practitioner academic career: Internship £12,500; Pre-doctoral £15,000; Post-doctoral £25,000.
This session will introduce the South West ICA awards and answer questions about the awards. All are welcome to attend.
If you are interested in attending, please email sw.icap@nihr.ac.uk to let us know and confirm what level of award you are interested in (Internship, Pre-Doctoral Bridging or Post-Doctoral Bridging).
