The University and Equal In-sight will be hosting another Bridging the Gap conference in Bristol this year. This conference brings together some of the leading scholars and practitioners working in the D&I space today. it will include new and exciting new voices in the field with the aim to open a space for discussion of the limitations of traditional approaches to equality and inclusion and possible solutions. This year, we’ll be hosting three fascinating discussions which focus on emerging issues in Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.
In these panels we’ll be looking at policy and legislation in our panel, ‘Policy, organisations and legal responsibilities: where does regulation stop and ethics begin?’ and the power of lived experience in our second panel, ‘Making sense of the data maze: Anecdote vs evidence’.
This year we’re introducing a shorter session, our ‘hot topic’, ‘Purposeful recruitment for an equitable workforce’. We’ll also be discussing how Equal Insight itself has developed over the last year.
