Developing successful Radiotherapy-Drug Combination projects with Industry

The workshop will provide an overview of the partnership development pathway from initial interactions, contracting and agreements to successful project management and execution. Tailored guidance will be provided to delegates with ideas at every stage of the development process.

Aim: The aim is to train the next generation of researchers to capitalise on partnership opportunities and build long lasting collaborations which can expedite the translation of radiotherapy- drug combination research to patient benefit.

Development of project ideas: Attendees will have the opportunity to submit project ideas ahead of the workshop. Projects will be reviewed by the Organising Committee and allocated to relevant groups for guidance and development in the breakout sessions.

Audience: This event is aimed at early/mid-career researchers with basic science, translational and/or clinical backgrounds, including allied health professionals. 

There will be opportunities throughout the day to network with peers, experts in the field, UKRI, industry and charitable partners, and continue thought provoking conversations outside of the agenda.
