Trailblazers in Cancer Research: The Next Generation
Manchester
Trailblazers is organised by and for Postdoctoral Research Fellows/Assistants who are members the British Association for Cancer Research (BACR). Final year PhD students who are also members of the BACR are eligible to attend,
subject to availability of spaces.
The aim is to bring together the BACR early career community to share their research, network and to hear from internationally renowned invited speakers working in cancer research. ECRs will have to present both talks and posters under one of 4 broad scientific sessions:
- Cell Signalling & the Tumour Microenvironment
- Cancer Omics
- Emerging Approaches in Cancer Treatment
- Lifestyle, Nutrition & Cancer
The programme includes how to incorporate Patient Public Involvement (PPI) in your research and a “Careers Panel Session” to discuss various career routes. This is a valuable career development and networking opportunity for ECRs, and we appeal to PIs and Group Leaders to support and encourage their ECRs to participate in this conference.
Abstract submission is a prerequisite for attendance.
