Title: A Perfect Storm – Forces Reshaping the Biopharma Ecosystem
Speaker: Joe Renny, Head of Corporate Development, CatSci
Abstract: Drug development has never been more scientifically ambitious — or more financially precarious. This talk examines the convergence of macro-economic pressures, exploding molecular complexity, and the rapid globalisation of pharmaceutical innovation, asking what these forces mean for every player in the ecosystem: the venture-backed biotechs originating novel medicines, the large pharma companies racing to refill their pipelines, the regulators adapting their frameworks in real time, and the contract organisations asked to bridge the gap between brilliant science and manufacturable medicine
We are hosting Joe Renny, Head of Corporate Development at CatSci. CatSci is a UK-based award-winning drug development partner developing novel small molecule and complex therapies.
