Feedback Engagement Fellows
The Feedback Engagement Fellow project represents a collaboration between BILT and the Bristol SU to improve the collective experience and engagement with feedback activity at the University. In 2025-2026, 30 student fellows are helping to refine and shape the engagement with feedback in their respective schools, as well as exploring cross-faculty priorities.
Contexts and background
In 2023/24, the Curriculum Enhancement Programme worked with Student Fellows to deliver Fast-track feedback workshops to 16 UG programmes.
An outline of the design and impact of the project can be found by following this link.
A subsequent pilot project in 2024/5 saw 9 Student Fellows working to help students in each of the three faculties to use their feedback engagement as a reflective practice opportunity and engage more with the Bristol Skills Profile. Some of the approaches which students undertook included setting up pop-up stalls for peers, developing and creating digital resources and marketing materials to increase the profile of feedback activity, as well as coaching peers on feedback reflection.
In 2025-2026, following the successes of the project, the programme expanded to include 30 Student Fellows, with the ambition of having a Fellow helping to develop the feedback culture in each school/centre within the University.
Further outlines of this phase of the partnership project can be found on the BILT blog.
