Doctoral Landscape Awards

We are proud to announce that the University of Bristol has been selected as one of the leading Higher Education Institutions to receive the prestigious Doctoral Landscape Award from the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC). This recognition underscores our commitment to strengthening and sustaining a vibrant Arts and Humanities research ecosystem.

This award provides vital funding to support postgraduate studentships across Arts and Humanities disciplines, enabling us to fund three doctoral students each year, starting in 2026/27.
