Akshi Singh, the acclaimed author of In Defence of Leisure: Experiments in Living with Marion Milner (Jonathan Cape, 2025) and Visiting Fellow in Psychosocial and Psychoanalytic Studies at the University of Essex, will be giving a paper entitled ‘Henry James and Haunted Tulips: The Spoils of Poynton Revisited’ at 4 pm on 5th November in Room G.H01, Arts Complex, 3-5 Woodland Road as part of the Department of English's autumn series of research seminars.
