Forming the third leg of their 2025 UK tour, ETH Big Band Zurich brings their vibrant energy and signature sound to Bristol for a night of musical collaboration and celebration. We’re delighted to welcome them to the city and to the stage for what promises to be an unforgettable performance.

The Bristol Hornstars are part of the Bristol Big Band Society, a student-led ensemble dedicated to performing a wide range of big band music—from classic swing to contemporary funk and Latin. As the society’s flagship band, The Bristol Hornstars are a fully auditioned 20-piece ensemble made up of talented student musicians from across the university. They deliver high-energy performances and foster a love of jazz in the wider community, regularly playing at local venues, events, and collaborating with big bands across the UK and beyond.
