The Environmental Humanities Postgraduate Research Showcase is an event open to all to discover the amazing range of Environmental Humanities research by PGRs and PGTs at the University of Bristol. It is a space for EnviroHums postgraduates to share their research in creative and engaging ways, and for attendees to explore how arts methodologies, creative practices, and participatory methods are essential for innovative and inspiring environmental research.

There will be chances to chat with researchers, take part in artistic activities (including creative writing, collage, metal work, and textiles), and network with the wider environmental humanities network, both within and outside of the university.

A free vegan buffet-style lunch will be provided, accompanied by a lunchtime panel and Q&A of industry leaders, artists, community, and activist groups discussing. Speakers from Adblock Bristol, Right to Roam Bristol will be joined by Alix Dietzel from the Cabot Institute, artist Luke Jerram (of Gaia and Tipping Point fame) and Avon Storyteller Corinne Harrigan, to discuss what environmental humanities research means to their work and practices beyond the unvirsity. The event will close with a relaxed space for networking with drinks, providing another opportunity to make connections and chat.

This event is for anyone with an interest in environmental humanities research, but also for PGs interested in presenting their research, public engagement, and creative, interdisciplinary or collaborative methodologies.

This event is funded by the UoB Centre for Environmental Humanities and the Bristol Doctoral College.
