Celebrating 40 years since they began their degrees at the University of Bristol, a group of modern linguists have organised this special reunion in London at The Fitzroy Tavern's Saloon Lounge.

The evening is open to all alumni who started in the autumn of 1984, not just modern linguists and family and friends are also welcome. Feel free to spread the word and come along with a group of your old peers.  

Don’t miss the opportunity to reconnect with old friends, share memories, and find out what everyone has been up to since graduating, over a few drinks and some light refreshments. This is an informal pub gathering, with a light buffet provided from around 6.30 pm and affordable drinks available.

Transport

The pub is easy to find and is within walking distance of Goodge St and Tottenham Court Road tube stations.  

Accessibility

The venue is in the Saloon Lounge, which is a separate entrance towards the back of the pub.

Please note, although it is on the ground floor, the toilets will involve stairs.
