Alumni Association Award 2024

Do you know a Bristol graduate who has volunteered their time or expertise to support the University community? Nominations for the Alumni Association Award are now open, and we’d love to hear from you.

The Alumni Association Award recognises volunteers who have strengthened the University’s student or alumni community. This could be through e-mentoring on Bristol Connects, supporting a student through the Bristol Mentors programme, organising an event for alumni or speaking at an event. Nominees will have made a sustained and active contribution to Bristol’s student and/or alumni community

The Alumni Association is the official body of the University’s alumni community – anyone that has studied at the University automatically becomes a member. The Alumni Association Committee represents the Association and it is now looking to recognise individuals who have championed the Alumni Association through their service to alumni or students.

The winner will be announced in January 2024, and will be invited to join other alumni award winners at a celebratory dinner hosted by the Vice Chancellor in spring next year.

Nominations for 2024 are now closed. Information about the 2025 Award will be available next summer.

The nomination form includes a 150-word statement explaining the work of the nominee. You’ll need another Bristol graduate to act as a reference – this can be a friend or contact from with the University of Bristol alumni community.
