Tuition fees
The total tuition fees in the table above cover all tuition and use of study resources and multimedia facilities at the University of Bristol. The tuition fees are the same for all students: UK residents, EU residents and overseas fee-paying residents. Tuition fees are subject to increase every year. Increases are decided by the Strategic Pricing Group.
The International Foundation Programme is a level 3 course on the Regulated Qualifications Framework. Students are therefore not eligible for funding from the UK Student Loans Company for the International Foundation Programme tuition fees.
Accommodation and living expenses are not included in the tuition fees.

University of Bristol 150th Anniversary CALD Progression Scholarship
To celebrate the University of Bristol's 150th anniversary, we’re delighted to offer a series of one-off scholarships worth £1,500 each for outstanding students progressing from the Centre for Academic Language and Development (CALD) International Foundation Programme (IFP).
One scholarship will be awarded to the student with the highest grade in each pathway:
- Arts, Law, and Social Sciences
- Business and Economics
- Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics
Open to CALD students studying the IFP in 2026/27 and progressing to an undergraduate degree at the University of Bristol in September 2027.
Eligibility and how to apply
Students who are fully sponsored or in receipt of another University scholarship are not eligible.
This scholarship is not available to students on the Dentistry pathway.
No application is required — awards will be made automatically to the top student in each pathway.
This is a merit-based award designed to recognise and reward exceptional academic achievement during your foundation studies. The scholarship will be applied as a tuition fee reduction.
