
Dana Tarif passed her PhD viva with very minor corrections on Friday 30th January.
Her PhD was supervised by Carol Joinson, Jon Heron and Abi Fraser and explored sex differences in the relationship between pubertal timing and depression and the mediating roles of body dissatisfaction and physical activity.
Dana’s external examiner was Lucy Bowes (Professor of Developmental Psychopathology at Oxford University) and her internal examiner was Kate Northstone.
