About us
The Programme has been established to oversee a number of related and inter-dependent projects in order to ensure the following:
- The projects are planned and delivered in a co-ordinated way to deliver the benefits incrementally.
- All decisions are made with the long term vision in mind, for example, each system is developed in a way that enables it to be integrated with other university systems.
- The inter-dependencies and resources for all projects are managed and controlled including efficient use of project staff and departmental representatives.
- The potential synergies between projects are monitored and developed to achieve maximum value.
- The burden on senior staff time is reduced through the rationalisation of meetings.
The Board currently consists of Professor Avril Waterman Pearson and Andy Nield as the Chairs of the individual projects, and Martine Carter as the Programme Co-ordinator. It is envisaged that as Projects are completed and new ones are initiated that the membership of the Board will change as appropriate.
Queries relating to the Programme and the workings of the Board should be directed to uob-informs@bristol.ac.uk in the first instance.
