Reporting to the Registrar and University Secretary and led by the Interim Director of Strategic Planning and Transformation (Mrs Victoria Jones Parry) the Division comprises the following teams:
Crisis Management and Business Continuity
Comprising the Business Continuity Manager and Business Continuity Administrator; the team is responsible for supporting staff across the University to develop and maintain incident management and business continuity plans. This in turn prepares the University to respond to major incidents and crises, and most importantly, recover. The team also delivers training to practise using plans and support staff who have business continuity and incident management responsibilities.
Comprising the Head and Deputy Heads of Planning, a team of Senior Planning Officers and a team of Senior BI Analysts and BI Analysts; the team is responsible for managing the delivery of business intelligence to the University, providing standard reports to support strategic planning and review and producing ad hoc data analysis.
Members of the team are also responsible for the coordination of the University’s Integrated Planning Process, development of student survey strategy. The team works closely with colleagues in IT Services and the Strategic Programmes in delivering the Business Intelligence service.
The Strategic Programmes and Projects supports the major change initiatives at the University. These are projects that improve IT systems and processes, re-structuring and growth initiatives, with the overall objective of supporting the strategic visions and aims of the University.
The team comprises of Project Managers, Business Analysts and Implementation officers working under the governance of the System and Process Investment Board.
