This unit is designed as a continuation for those who have little or no previous knowledge of Latin. You will learn all the fundamental morphology and syntax of classical Latin and at level A2 you will read a substantial amount of un-adapted Latin. At the conclusion of this unit you should be able to read straightforward Latin texts on your own, with the aid of a reference grammar and dictionary.

Upon successful completion of this unit, students will be able to:
