Department seminars
- When: Tuesdays, fortnightly during term time, from 4.30-6.00pm (refreshments from 4.00pm).
- Where: Room G5 in the Department of Theology and Religious Studies, University of Bristol, 3 Woodland Road.
- Attendance: All postgraduates and other members of the University (with their guests) are most welcome.

Special events
Lecture series organized by the Bristol Society for the Arts of Asia co-hosted by the Centre for Buddhist Studies (University of Bristol)
- Where: Room G16 (for the talks in 2011) and G59 (2012) University of Bristol, 3 Woodland Road.
- When: Lecturer meetings (usually six per year) are held on a Wednesday (6.30 - 8.00 pm) of February, March, April, May, October and November; outings and socials ad hoc.
- Attendance: University of Bristol staff and students are welcome to our open meetings free of charge on the production of their staff or student I.D. card. A membership rate of £5 is available to postgraduate university students. Members are required to contribute £2 per head at each lecture meeting of the Society that they attend, to help cover the cost of portering. Non-Members are welcome at our lecture meetings, but are required to make a donation of not less than £5 at lecture meetings, towards the Society's expenses. A non-Member joining the Society at a lecture meeting will receive a rebate of this £5.
