Summary: A description of the permissions that web publishers can have on T4 Site Manager.
There are two levels of permissions for web publishers in T4 Site Manager: moderator and contributor.
- Contributor has basic access to create and edit content. Any edits are sent to a moderator for review.
- Moderator has more advanced access to create, edit and manage content. They can approve their own content for publication, and review, approve or reject content edited by contributors.
If you're a site administrator, you should have moderator permissions, although you may have other moderators working with you on your site.
'Site administrator' has a specific meaning in T4 governance terms - see Roles.
There are pre-requisites to becoming a T4 publisher or gaining permissions to edit a site. For full details see Access to edit public-facing websites hosted in T4 Site Manager (UoB staff only).
