Suitable for graduates with any degree who have some quantitative training, this interdisciplinary programme provides comprehensive training across the business-relevant disciplines with a strong focus on real-world applications. The programme gives you with knowledge and skills to address the strategic challenges that face modern businesses and organisations that operate in competitive national and global markets.
Second term courses are grouped into two pathways – Strategy and Business or International Economics and Finance – or students have the flexibility to choose their own units.
Fees for 2021/22
We charge an annual tuition fee. Fees for 2021/22 are as follows:
- UK: full-time
- Overseas (including EU): full-time
- Channel Islands/Isle of Man: full-time

After completing core units in economics, finance and management, in the second term you can choose your own mix of optional units or you can specialise in either Strategy and Business, or International Economics and Finance. All students are equipped with the necessary skills in data analysis to allow you to complete a project-based dissertation of up to 15,000 words. Dissertation topics build directly on what you learn in your optional units.

An upper second-class honours degree (or equivalent qualification) that demonstrates mathematical ability.

The programme prepares students for a wide range of future careers. The strategy and business pathway is designed for students aiming for consultancy and management roles, while the international economics and finance pathway is relevant to careers in banking and financial institutions. Recent graduate destinations include China Merchants Bank, KPMG, Ocado Group and Lloyds.
31 July 2021 for International applicants. 19 August 2021 for UK applicants. Early applications recommended; places may fill before the deadline. As students from different regions tend to apply at different points in the application period, applications from some regions may close earlier in the year.
