We offer an exciting and stimulating set of postgraduate law programmes, each of which prepares you for a variety of careers. If you are interested in studying law beyond your undergraduate degree level and want to develop your analytical, research and legal writing skills, you will find Bristol’s LLM to be a challenging and rewarding experience. We have a large and vibrant international community and our LLM students benefit from small class sizes taught by world-renowned experts.
Our LLM programmes give you the opportunity to specialise in a particular area but you can also opt for a broader and more general set of unit choices. In all cases, you are encouraged to explore your chosen areas of law at a deeper level. You will have the chance to see how these legal fields operate in different contexts, considering the relevant issues theoretically and practically and from a range of perspectives.
This programme offers you a huge choice of units - you may choose four from any that are offered within our specialist LLM programmes. The programme gives you a chance to explore a broad range of legal areas and opens doors to a variety of legal and other careers, both within the UK and further afield.
