Welcome Village

Ready to Find Your Bristol? We’ve got some amazing plans for this year’s Welcome Village in the heart of campus from 21 to 23 September 2021

Delicious food and performance

We’re preparing for three days of performance and delicious food, set amongst the beautifully landscaped surroundings of Royal Fort Gardens.

The gardens will be the perfect destination to visit between your welcome week inductions and events.

We’ll have a Tipi café, smoothies, street food, cracking coffee, panel discussions, yoga and chilled DJ’s.

For the more active, you can try one of our give-it-a-go sport sessions, from Zumba to a coconut shy.

Live graffiti and giveaways

There will be new art installations, including live graffiti artists in action and some student performances from our outdoor stage. There will also be loads of giveaways as well!

Meet new people and find support

The Welcome Village is also a great place to meet new people and to work out how to get the support you need right now and into the future.

The student services teams will be on hand to tell you about staying safe, sustainability, wellbeing and careers. The Bristol Drugs Project will also be there to provide advice and support.

Get Vaccinated at the village

As well as information on how to navigate university life whilst managing the COVID-19 pandemic, you can even get tested and vaccinated on-site if you wish.

On Tuesday 21 September between 10:00 and 15:00 we will be offering walk in vaccinations at the St John's ambulance stand in the Welcome Village - no booking required.
