61/63 St. Michaels Hill

These 2 3 storey houses are interlinked, and home to a maximum of 16 residents, 8 in single rooms and 8 in shared rooms.

The house is a bit of a rabbit warren, and the rooms vary in size and character.  There is a large kitchen/dining room on the first floor, with enough space for seating the whole house.  There are a further 2 kitchens on the ground floor.  There is a good sized, bright common room for everyone to get together.  All rooms at the front have great views across the city.

St. Michaels Hill is a busy and steep hill in the centre of the city.  The University of Bristol sits on one side of the hill and the Bristol Royal Infirmary on the other.  The University Sports Centre, Computer Centre and Social Science library are a stone's throw away.

The area is known as Kingsdown and is very popular with 2nd and 3rd year students, as well as young professionals, primarily because everything is within walking distance.  A supermarket and independent shops can be found at the top of the hill, as well as a small selection of cafes, and pubs.

Down the hill it is a 10 minute walk to the Bus station or into Broadmead, the main shopping area of Bristol.  There are bus links at the top of the hill which will take you to the train station.
