St. Michaels Hill is one of the city’s best known streets. It connects Park Row to Hampton Road and the main University precinct adjoins it near the top. Parking outside the houses is metered (even on a Sunday).
If you are arriving by train to Temple Meads the number 8 or 9 bus service runs in a loop from the University to the Station. The nearest stop is just at the top of St Michaels Hill, at the junction of Tyndalls Avenue.
If you arriving at Bristol Bus Station you will need to you will need to take a short walk to the Rupert Street stop just past New Bridewell Police Station and catch the number 8 or 9 bus service runs in a loop from the University to the Station.
