Shops and facilities
There is a Somerfield supermarket at the top of the hill, along with a range of other local shops. It is a short walk to Sainsburys supermarket on the Triangle, and there are numerous other shops on Queens Road and Park Street. It is not far (using Christmas Steps) to walk to the City’s main central shopping centre in Broadmead.

There are several pubs and cafes at the top of St Michaels Hill, and several more at the bottom, and on Colston Street and Lower Park Row. Queens Road and Park Street have a large number of restaurants, cafes and bars.
