Designed for all colleagues interacting with students (professional services and academics)

Designed for personal tutors and staff working with students

Designed for people who have suffered a bereavement

This short workshop (2 hours) explores some of the issues impacting upon the wellbeing of managers and their team members during the Covid 19 outbreak. It outlines helpful skills and tips to support managers to hold sensitive conversations with their team members who may be struggling whilst being aware of and looking after their own wellbeing.

This workshop (2 hours) has been converted to an on-line version of the programme that was available at the end of 2019. It is aimed at all staff whose role involves interaction with students. It helps staff to build awareness of mental health issues, in order to develop the necessary confidence and communication skills to respond with compassion to students experiencing a range of distress.  This introductory workshop (2.5 hours) offers a guide to approaching support for students via a range of remote tools and considers how to identify concerns remotely and best deliver the support to maximise effectiveness. The programme is primarily aimed at Personal and Senior Tutors and staff working with students.

A short guide (1 hour) to understanding loss and bereavement, the process of grief, reactions to loss and the impact on ourselves and others.
